Research Notes:

There are questions about this person. The 1901 baptismal record shows name as Calliste Rivet. The 1910 census shows Alice Rivet, daughter, age 9. The 1920 census shows Calice Rivet, son, age 18. Findagrave website has a memorial for Galice Rivet, born 1901, which matches up with censuses. A New Orleans death index shows Calise to be male, died age 23 on 9 Jul 1925. No additional records have been found. (Admittedly, I haven't made an exhaustive search attempt either.) Until other evidence is found, I now assume that Calliste/Alice/Calice/Galice is the same person, probably a male, and was enumerated incorrectly in 1910 as a female. Anyone with information please contact me!
