     Originally, the marriage between Desire Ducharme and Mary Ann or Marion Creswell was assigned to Jean Desire Ducharme as a third marriage. However it became apparent after reviewing census and other records that this marriage was for his son, Joseph Desire Ducharme. That correction has now been made.

Desire worked for himself on a general farm. Their farm was owned free and clear of any mortgage.4
