Census1940Willie Creighton (given age 70) was enumerated on the 1940 census as the head of a household, living at Youngsville, Lafayette Parish, LA. Also living with him was his wife, Alice Creighton (given age 73). Another "head of household", Mayo Broussard (given age 40), a widower, apparently was living in this same household. The Creighton family paid rent of $5 per month. They were not employed and were not seeking work.7
