Research Notes:

A marriage record for Joseph Duhon was found, but it isn't clear which of the brothers Joseph it is for.
It's possible that the older Joseph could have died young, or perhaps not long before the youngest one was born, or maybe he just never married. No middle name has been seen for either Joseph.
If we make the assumption that the older Joseph died, then the marriage of Joseph to Emelie Cormier in 1835 would be for the younger Joseph. This fits well with his age for a first marriage, which would be about 17 years old. The older Joseph would have been 43 if this was his marriage, a little unusual for a first marriage (but not unheard of, and it could have been a second marriage.) I have found no record of any earlier marriages, and have found no additional information that would indicate that these brothers were both alive at the same time.
Anyone with additional information on either of these two brothers is welcome to enlighten me!
