He shot himself at 3:00 a.m. in a store room on College Ave., just one door south of the residence of his brother, Columbus Davis, who heard the blast. Thinking the noise was coming from a neighbor's house, Columbus did not discover his brother until the next morning.1
BurialHe was buried at Omega Cemetery in SW of Akron, Fulton County, IN.1
