Also living with him was his wife, Hilda Ardoin (given age 38). They rented their home, which was on a farm, for four dollars per month. Walton had a second grade education, and Hilda had completed the sixth grade. During the week before the census was taken, Walton worked 54 hours as a carpenter, building homes. He earned $250 in 1939, as well as additional income (probably from the farm).3
DeathWalton Ardoin died at age 92 on 20 Jan 1993.1
